About us

Minority Access Program

Students interested in enhancing their research experience and becoming part of a scientific community have a variety of opportunities in The Endocrine Society’s Minority Access Program (MAP).

The MAP offers undergraduate students from underrepresented minority groups training in top-notch endocrine research labs and professional development activities that are designed to nurture the educational and career growth of future scientists.

Students are provided with:

  • Summer Research Internships at Endocrine Training Institutions for two consecutive summers
  • Research seminars/workshops and GRE preparation courses
  • Travel to attend the Society’s Annual Meeting (ENDO) for two consecutive summers
  • a long-term e-mentoring program
