Students interested in enhancing their research experience and becoming part of a scientific community has a variety of opportunities in The Endocrine Network for Undergraduate Research & Career Development Opportunities (formerly The Endocrine Society’s Minority Access Program (MAP)).
This program offers undergraduate students (sophomore or junior standing) from underrepresented minority groups training in top-notch endocrine research labs and professional development activities that are designed to nurture the educational and career growth of future scientists.
Students are provided with:
- Summer Research Internships at Endocrine Training Institutions for two consecutive summers
- Research seminars/workshops and GRE preparation courses
- Travel to attend the Society’s Annual Meeting (ENDO) for two consecutive summers
- a long-term e-mentoring program
