The Endocrine Society is pleased to support local Endocrine Clubs by providing travel support and honoraria for member speakers who agree to speak at club functions. The Society will provide up to $1000 travel support as well as $1000 honorarium for the speaker. Each local club is entitled to apply for support of one speaker per academic year (September - May). Requests for support should be submitted at least three months in advance of the date of presentation. Funds are limited and will be awarded in the order that requests are received.

At present, a core group of members have agreed to participate in the speakers bureau, however any active full member of The Endocrine Society may be considered for participation in the program. Club leadership is free to contact potential speakers to determine availability to speak at a club event. Once a speaker’s availability has been confirmed, clubs should contact Robert Bartel, Director, Education (301-951-2606 or rbartel@endo-society.org) to request support.
