FELLOWS CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

The Endocrine Society and the Endocrine Fellows Foundation is offering clinical endocrinology fellows the opportunity to participate in the Metabolic Bone Diseases Research Forum Poster Session the evening of July 31, 2008 and the Osteoporosis Update: Prevention, Detection, and Treatment July 30-31, 2008 in Santa Fe, NM. Program Directors are encouraged to select individuals from their fellowship program who meet the criteria listed below. The Society will select endocrine fellows on a first come first serve basis. The invitation includes airfare and hotel accommodations for three nights.

THE SOCIETY WILL AWARD FELLOWS BASED ON THE FOLLOWING SELECTION PROCESS:

CRITERIA: Nominated fellows must meet the following criteria at the time the application is submitted:

Have an M.D. or D.O. degree
Be actively enrolled as a 1st, 2nd or 3rd year fellow in an accredited fellowship training program in adult endocrinology as listed in the 2006‑2007 Graduate Medical Education Directory. Current full or part‑time faculty members are ineligible
Intend to practice clinical endocrinology in the United States upon completion of their fellowship training

SUBMIT FORMS TO: The Fellows are to complete the application (pdf) and return them to Tiffany Francis at 240-482-1384 or tfrancis@endo-society.org.

DEADLINE: The Society must receive all applications by June 15, 2008.

ABSTRACTS: Fellows attending the Research Forum Poster Session are encouraged to submit an abstract. Abstracts must be submitted by July 1, 2008. Click here to download the Abstract Form (pdf).

INVITE DATE: The Society will send a confirmation letter to all fellow recipients by June 30, 2008. Program Directors will also receive a copy of the letter.
