This change, approved today by the Society’s governing Council, was sparked by ongoing feedback from membership as well as a Society-wide survey. “Hosting the meeting in March will expand the amount of scientific and clinical content to be presented,” said Robert A. Vigersky, MD, president of The Endocrine Society. “It will also generate greater opportunity for endocrinologists and industry representatives from across the world to attend and participate.” First held in 1916, ENDO continues to be the Society’s premiere annual event offering attendees an unparalleled opportunity to learn about the latest advances in endocrine research and clinical care. Until the official month change takes place in the year 2016, the annual meeting will continue to be held in June. ENDO 2010: The 92nd Annual Meeting & Expo will be held June 19-22 in San Diego, California. This year, ENDO will feature more than 200 scientific sessions covering the breadth of endocrinology including 16 plenary lectures, 140 case management forums and meet-the-professor sessions, 78 symposia and close to 375 presentations from some of the world’s leading experts in endocrine research and care. Close to 2,500 abstracts will be presented and viewed by an anticipated 7,500 attendees. For more information about ENDO 2010 please visit: www.endo-society.org.
