CEU & Other Events

Clinical Endocrinology Update will take place in Miami FL from September 13-15, 2012. The CEU program provides scientifically valid and clinically relevant reviews and updates on advances affecting the practice of endocrinology. CEU attracts over 400 practicing physicians and scientists involved in clinical study and academics, and also attracts fellows who come to hear the most updated information on diagnosis and management of all the major components of contemporary endocrinology presented by world-recognized experts in the field.

To learn about CEU 2012, please contact Teresa Favero at 301-941-0229 or tfavero@endo-society.org.

Early Investigator's Workshop for Trainees is a unique, two-day meeting, offering a select group of clinical and post-doctoral fellows an in-depth introduction to hypothesis-driven research. Presented by leaders in endocrine research, the workshop was specifically designed to foster one-on-one interaction between participants and senior scientists, while also providing a knowledge base for fellows to develop their research careers. To preserve the interpersonal nature of instruction, the workshop is limited to 50 fellows. Sponsors may send one representative to the meeting. Commercial supporters are acknowledged on the Web site, in written marketing materials including the program handout, and on signage.

Clinical Practice Guidelines

Although the Clinical Practice Guidelines are not available for support, The Endocrine Society is currently working with International Guidelines Center to develop enduring products to the Society’s Clinical Practice Guidelines. These enduring products are available for sponsorship and will serve to increase awareness and potential usage of the guidelines and include items such as wall board and pocket cards for physicians.

The Hormone Foundation also creates patient companion pieces to complement each CPG. These guides are designed to help patients with specific endocrine-disorders to partner with their physicians to reach their treatment goals. The Hormone Foundation patient guides are available for sponsorship and offer a unique opportunity for public exposure through patient education efforts.
