The Endocrine Society's Continuing Medical Education Services (CMES)

The Endocrine Society is known for scientific excellence and a prestigious reputation. Since 1996, the Society's Continuing Medical Education Services (CMES) has conducted more than 400 CMES programs, reaching over 100,000 physicians. CMES delivers outstanding quality through:

  •  Instant Credibility
  •  Unparalleled Scientific Expertise
  •  Customized, Turn-Key Program Management

All programs are developed in coordination with the Society's Special Programs Committee and CME Advisory Committee, which review the program to ensure compliance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and American Medical Association (AMA) guidelines.

While the programs are supported by educational grants from industry, they are developed by the Society without any influence from the supporter on the educational content of the program.

Presentations can focus on the latest research and development, new disease state management guidelines or new therapies and treatment options. Programs can coincide with the Society's Annual Meeting – ENDO, Clinical Endocrinology Update (CEU), or other stand-alone outside meetings, such as PriMed or another association meeting.

The mission of the Society is to provide quality, cutting edge education to the medical field. CMES programs enable endocrinologists, PCP's and allied health professionals to stay current on the latest advances in endocrinology.
