2010 CLB Forum Topic Just Announced!

The Corporate Liaison Board (CLB) hosted the 10th Annual CLB Forum at ENDO 09:  “Biomarkers in Cardiovascular Endocrinology in Clinical Trials & Drug Development,” which highlighted the collaboration between industry, academia, and government in approaches to treatment of endocrine disorders.  The program included the following topics:

  • The Mandate for Development of Biomarkers of Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease: Future Implications, David A. Fryburg, MD
  • Novel Cardiovascular Biomarkers: Experience with Lp-PLA2 , Joseph P. McConnell, PhD
  • Biomarkers in Cardiovascular Endocrinology in Clinical Trials & Drug Development:  Regulatory Perspective, Mary H. Parks, MD
This was an extremely popular program with 93% of attendees stating that they would recommend the program to their colleagues.  Comments ranged from “excellent topics” to “very interesting and important topics – well presented”.

Don’t miss another great program in 2010 on Friday, June 18th, 6:30-9:30 pm led by Program Director, S. Sethu K. Reddy, MD, MBA – Merck & Co.  The program will take place immediately after Diabetes Management Day and is titled, “Application of Technology to Improve Diabetes Care – Navigating the Labyrinth” and includes the following topics:

  • Non-Invasive Glucose Management
