Endocrine Society Responds to Senate Finance Committee Report on Avandia

The Endocrine Society urges the FDA to formally reconsider the concerns about the safety of the drug rosiglitazone (Avandia) by re-convening the Endocrinologic and Metabolic Drugs Advisory Committee (EMDAC) to reassess the drug's safety.
