ABIM Maintenance of Certification Learning Session

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

To participate in the Learning Session:

Register with The Endocrine Society to take the ABIM Learning Session. The registration fees for this ABIM Learning Session cover the costs for the educational support provided at the session and will be paid directly to The Endocrine Society. The registration fee structure is online at http://www.endo-society.org/endo/registration/fees.cfm.
The Endocrine Society will provide you with a “Learner’s Copy” of the ABIM Endocrinology, 2007 Update A3-E at the session on June 14, 2008.
In addition to the learner’s copy you will receive at the session, you must order an “Official” copy of the knowledge module(s) directly from ABIM. Modules can be ordered via your password-protected “Home Page” in the Physician Login (formerly On-Line Services) section of www.abim.org; or by calling the ABIM Contact Center, 800-441-ABIM, extension 3598.
Modules can be ordered in two formats:
1. CD-Rom (you will receive within 5-7 business days via mail);
2. Internet PDF version will immediately become available to you on your home page.
You may order this official module copy either before or after you take the ABIM learning session on June 14, 2008. If you order this before attending the session on you are welcome to bring your “official” module with you.

NOTE:

If you are already enrolled in the ABIM MOC program, there is no additional fee for ordering the “official” module. A learner copy version of the module will be distributed to attendees at the session. You may also bring your “official” version if you receive it by the session date.

If you are not enrolled in the ABIM MOC Program you may attend the learning session; however you must enroll in the MOC program prior to receiving MOC credit for the knowledge module. To enroll in the MOC Program go to your password-protected “Home Page” in the Physician Login (formerly On-Line Services) section of www.abim.org

After the learning session on June 14, 2008, please submit your answers to ABIM as soon as possible for MOC credit by completing and submitting your “official” internet copy, or by using your “official” CD-Rom version (you must be connected to the internet in order for your answers to be successfully transmitted to ABIM).
