The CAAT-IPAM-ISS symposium on ?Alternative in vitro methods to characterize the role of Endocrine Active Substances (EASs) in hormone-targeted tissues? will focus on the use of human cell cultures in the field of endocrine disruption with the main goal to promote the assessment and validation of alternative methods to the animal experimentation in agreement with the requirements of directive 2010/63/EU and REACH policy and to support different fields of investigation such as toxicology, environmental sciences and biomedical research.
