Awards & Grants

The Endocrine Society awards program supports the Society's dedication to excellence in research, education and clinical practice in the field of endocrinology. The Society awards over $1.5 million annually to researchers, clinicians and trainees. Award recipients are members and non-members from all over the world; from the high school level through the leaders in endocrinology.

The Endocrine Society's Research (Bridge) Grants
The Society's Bridge Grant program has provided $1.15 million in grant funding to 23 investigators from 2006-2009.

ENDO Abstract Awards & Travel Grants
ENDO Abstract Awards & Travel Grants provide support for travel to ENDO, The Endocrine Society's Annual Meeting.

Additional Society Awards
Other awards that the Society presents, including the Endocrine Scholars Award, the Intel International Science & Engineering Fair Awards, the International Endocrine Scholars Program, the Medical Student Achievement Awards and The Endocrine Society Award for Excellence in Science and Medical Journalism.

Journal Awards
Awards presented in honor of published work in the Society's peer-reviewed journals.

The Endocrine Society Laureate Awards
With only 11 awards granted, The Laureate Awards represent the pinnacle of achievement in the field of endocrinology and have for over 60 years. These distinguished recipients are the innovators, educators and practitioners who are transforming endocrinology. Their accomplishments are unmatched in a broad spectrum of activities, including science, leadership, teaching and service. The dedication, commitment and achievements of these winners have earned them a place beside some of the greatest endocrinologists in history.

Research Fellowship Awards
Lilly Endocrine Scholars Award; Solvay Clinical Research Award; and Summer Research Fellowships.

Travel Funding
These programs offer support for trainees to attend meetings other than ENDO.
