The Endocrine Society's Research (Bridge) Grants
|
In three years of funding Bridge Grants (2006-2009), The Endocrine Society provided more than $1million to 23 highly meritorious research projects to help its members continue their valuable work during challenging economic times. After the 2009 funding cycles, the Society's leadership made the difficult decision to suspend the program due to challenges resulting from the global economic downturn. The program has been placed on hold and will be periodically reassessed by The Endocrine Society. It may be reinstated at some point in the future if it is financially feasible and still necessary. The program has enjoyed great support of Society members and officers and has met with tremendous success as evidenced by the quality of the grant applications and by the recipients' continued contribution to scientific knowledge. |
