Created in 2005, these awards recognize basic science trainees who submit outstanding abstracts to ENDO in the basic science categories. Eligible applicants must be a Ph.D. student in training or M.D./Ph.D. student who will submit an abstract based on research conducted during the Ph.D. portion of their studies. Applicants must also be the first and presenting author on the abstract. Each winner is scheduled to give an oral presentation at ENDO 08 and receives a $500 travel award, a $500 honorarium and complimentary registration to ENDO 08. Supported by The Endocrine Society.
