The Delbert A. Fisher Research Scholar Award

The Delbert A. Fisher Research Scholar Award provides a $2,000 honorarium awarded to one recipient annually for scholarly work on the history of endocrinology. The scholar will deliver the Clark T. Sawin Memorial History of Endocrinology Lecture at ENDO and submit a summary article to be considered for publication in Endocrine News

The material presented should be a broad, comprehensive and scholarly narrative of the history of the chosen topic.  Important discoveries and milestones should be outlined, and significant contributions by the award recipient and other workers in the field should be incorporated.  Personal insights and historical vignettes are encouraged.

How to Apply:

Interested applicants should submit a letter of intent highlighting applicant's background and area of interest, as well as curriculum vitae to amcelvaine@endo-society.org.  The selection panel comprises the Chairs of the Annual Meeting Steering Committee and the Chair of the History Task Force.
