The Harold Vigersky Practicing Physician Travel Award

Established in 2010 by President Robert Vigersky, the goal of this award is to provide support to US based clinicians who do not receive financial support or reimbursement to attend The Endocrine Society's annual meeting (ENDO) or Clinical Endocrinology Update (CEU). 

Award

Recipient will receive a $2,000 award which includes complimentary registration to either ENDO or CEU, and a $1,500 travel and lost productivity allowance. Award applicants meeting all eligibility criteria will be placed into a lottery from which an award recipient will be drawn.

Eligibility Requirements*

  • US based practitioner
  • TES member in good standing
  • Board-eligible or Board-certified endocrinologist
  • Employed full-time (32 hours or more per week)
  • Completed endocrinology fellowship within the past 10 years
  • No previous or current Committee or Task Force service in The Endocrine Society
  • Receive no financial support, reimbursement or funding for office space, staff or travel (must be operating a wholly unsupported private practice)

*The Endocrine Society reserves the right to narrow the award applicant pool based on the frequency of an applicant's prior attendance to ENDO or CEU.
