2 awards at $500 each

Awarded to outstanding abstracts submitted by women. Applicants must be a medical school student, graduate student, in-training post-doctoral fellow (1st - 4th year of fellowship), or new faculty (1st - 2nd year of appointment). Winners must be both the first and presenting author on the abstract. Travel grant recipients from the previous year are ineligible. Preference will be given to members of The Endocrine Society. Supported by the Mara E. Lieberman Memorial Fund.

To apply for this award, you must complete the appropriate section of the abstract submission site prior to submitting it for review. To begin the abstract submission process, visit the website at www.endo-society.org/endo09/abstracts.cfm as early as November 17, 2008. The last day to submit an abstract and to apply for this award is January 12, 2009.
