Awarded for outstanding abstracts authored by M.D. fellows (or equivalent clinical care certification) presently enrolled in an established U.S. or Canadian endocrine science training program who is conducting research as a major investigator in clinically relevant aspects of thyroid disease. These awards, supported by Abbott Laboratories, will support the winners' travel to ENDO, the Society's Annual Meeting.

Criteria:

• Must be an M.D. fellow (or equivalent clinical care certification)
• Applicants must be first author on qualifying ENDO abstract representing work not supported by Abbott Laboratories.
• The fellows selected as finalist must participate in an oral presentation at ENDO 2010.

The mentor of the winning presentation will receive the Thyroid Clinical Research Mentor Award supported by Abbott Laboratories.
