The Endocrine Society
Founded in 1916, The Endocrine Society serves as the international advocate for excellence in endocrine-related research and patient care. With more than 14,000 members representing over 100 countries, the Society is a unique, integrative organization, representing all facets of endocrinology at all levels of professional expertise: basic researchers, clinical investigators, clinicians, fellows/students and healthcare associates.

Trainee & Career Development Core Committee
The Clinical Investigators Workshop for Trainees was created by The Endocrine Society’s Trainee & Career Development Core Committee (TCDCC), which is a representative group of Fellow/ Student Associate members of the Society. The TCDCC’s mission is to represent, serve and advocate for undergraduates, graduates and postgraduates in basic and clinical endocrinology with regard to their professional development.

Clinical Research Subcommittee
The Clinical Research Subcommittee, which is composed of members who are clinical scientists, is one of two subcommittees that make up The Endocrine Society’s Research Affairs Core Committee (RACC). The RACC’s mission is to promote excellence in and support for basic and clinical research in endocrinology and support advocacy for increased funding of biomedical research. The committee was divided into two subcommittees—one for basic researchers and one for clinical researchers—in 2004.
