Member Testifies on Endocrine Disruptors

Society member Linda C. Giudice, MD, PhD, MSc, of the University of California, San Francisco, testified on Tuesday, April 29, before the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works in a hearing on “Oversight on EPA Toxic Chemical Policies.”

Dr. Giudice focused on three key points in her testimony. First, she presented information on disturbing trends in male and female reproductive health and development. Second, she discussed how chemicals in our environment can affect reproductive and developmental health, and the relationship to developing adult diseases.
