Medicare Part D: Final Ruling

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) of the Department of Health and Human Services have issued a final ruling that clarifies use of existing polices associated with the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefits, known as Medicare Part D. The new policies include guidance on supplies associate with the administration of insulin. The regulations are scheduled to go into effect on June 9, 2008.
