The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Diabetes Translation has announced its Call for Abstracts for its 33rd annual diabetes conference, April 13-16, 2010. Each year this annual meeting is attended by approximately 600 participants from different aspects of healthcare including management, providers, academia, and policy.
The abstracts that will be considered favorable to the conference planning committee address specific issues, approaches, or strategies that contribute to diabetes prevention and control. Abstracts will be accepted in the following categories: communication, media, and technology; community intervention; health disparities; epidemiology -- surveillance and research; evaluation; partnership/collaboration; policy and legislation; public health system improvement; and primary prevention.
