AMA Survey on PQRI; Endocrine Society Member Participation Requested

September 5, 2008

The American Medical Association (AMA) has prepared an online survey for physicians who took part in the Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI) in 2007. The PQRI program, managed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), allows providers to earn a small monetary bonus for reporting quality measures on a variety of medical conditions. 74 measures were available for reporting in 2007 and 119 measures are available in 2008.

The survey, which includes questions about providers' medical practices and involvement in the program, will take only 10-15 minutes. Information gathered from the survey process will allow the AMA, The Endocrine Society, and other organizations to effectively advocate for improvements to the PQRI program in the future.

To participate, please click on the link below, and you will be taken directly to the survey.
