ENDO 2010 Garners Significant Media Coverage

ENDO 2010: The 92nd Annual Meeting & Expo generated excellent media coverage around the world on behalf of the Society and its members' research. More than 60 reporters (both on-site and on-line) participated in six news conferences highlighting some of the most compelling and newsworthy findings presented at the meeting.

To date, the most widely covered research and stories include the release of the Society’s second Scientific Statement. This Scientific Statement on postmenopausal hormone therapy was covered by Medscape, MedPage Today and Endocrine Today. In addition, the Los Angeles Times, BusinessWeek, WebMD and Health.com reported on Dr. Adrienne Nassar’s study on the unique challenges faced by diabetes patients living in hot climates. Dr. Evanthia Diamanti-Kandarakis' study about how elevated levels of BPA were found in women with PCOS garnered coverage in  U. S. News & World Report, HealthDay and MSN Health & Fitness.
